Karmic Acres is located in rural Northern Michigan on a 53 acre farm that has been in the family for generations. Raising quality dairy goats has always been a family passion which stands true to this day. The Aube family has had experience with multiple breeds of goats including Alpine, Saanen, Nubians, Nigerians, and Boer Goats. Currently sisters Brittany and Amanda maintain a small herd of Nubians and Nigerian Dwarfs. In addition to the goats there are several horses, a few cows, a couple cats and a handful of chickens on the farm. Along with the family dogs La Tay, Luna, Mocha, and Sierra. The entire goat herd has tested CAE, CL, and Johne’s free in 2013 & 2015. Herd is tested on a biannual basis with the next test scheduled for 2018. We are participants in the ADGA Plus program and are excited to not only have our does on standard milk testing but to have our herd appraised by an ADGA certified appraiser on an annual or biannual basis. We also have all of our bucks DNA typed to make parental verification possible. Our website is updated frequently and is currently being revised.
